H@ Comparison

Anyone compared the the Lumicon H@ Night Filter and Astronomik 13nm H@? The Lumicon is predominantly a red filter used for H@. The Astronomik is a true H@. I was wondering how the bandwidth compares and also actual images.

I will be getting a Lumicon H@ in the next few days. Should make an interesting comparison. Will probably get the Astronomik also if it works better for what I want, which is primarily as a light pollution filter.

Ive just used the Lumicon Ha night sky filter to see how it records Ha and how it beats light pollution. Answer - exceptionally well. I live 4-5 km from CBD of BrisVegas and the full moon was up monday night and I was shooting almost directly into it. I attach a Combination of 15 min and 1 min shots with QHY8 camera binned 2x2 done in PS. This is going to be a luminance level for a LRBG of orion nebula when I get to finish processing it.
Comments more than welcome. As far as I can see from this first shot the ~30-40nm range of this filter does quite well.
Sorry about the jpeg compressions
