A late Lagoon and Trifid

Shot from home in September this is the first time I have given the Optolong L-enhance a had decent go. I think it works .. What do you think?? 52Lights and 41 darks . 3 min exposures. This section of the Milky Way is rich with deep sky wonders. Awe and wonder folks.

A very detailed shot, Wes. There's a lot of very subtle colour detail in the nebulous areas. Well done.

What camera did you use?

Cheers,
V

I have to agree on all counts, particularly the colour. Well done.

Yes, Nicholas got it right. Thanks😉 and Thanks for asking. Originally, I bought the ZWO ASI 071MC Pro because it had the largest CMOS pixels available at the time which was more suitable for "Zamar" 20" F5 but it seems to be doing an OK job at around 2.5 Arc sec/pixel with the Gran Turismo. I spent was too much time on Astronomy Tools comparing stats!! Cheers

Humbled. Thanks ... Post processing is the art form which I agonize over.
They don't look like this through the eye piece.......

Thanks John , a full field uncropped give a 4 x 2-degree FOV. On astrobin at least it sits between the DSLR wide field and the larger refractor reflector FOV's. Cheers

Thanks . Colour ... I am not really a fan of the false color narrow band pallet but hence the Optolong L-enHance falls into that category. With this being its first outing in anger I'm glad I am not forced to poke out my own eye . 😉👍😂 Cheers
