Another NGC3576 at 3 metres

I took this recently under a very bright 2/3rds moon.

Its a very dynamic area in 5nm Ha less so in O3 and S11.

The detail and contrast levels look good Greg. I do note though there is quite a bit of weird star shapes bottom left, bottom right and top right of the image. Tilt I would imagine or perhaps stacking? I prefer your field of view to mine though.

I think it needs to be recollimated as I took the reducer off and last I collimated it I think the reducer was on. I did pack out tilt and spent some time on it so I got it to a good point but yeah there was still some of that left.
Recollimation is the next job.

Agreed.... unfortunately the star shapes are all over the shop. More the pity as it looks like the seeing wasn't too shabby....but without these challenges it would be a boring hobby ! ( but I'd much prefer they went away at times )

I'll adjust it and it'll all be good. I took off the reducer as it required a guide scope for guiding and that was a bit too variable. I plan to just image at the scopes native focal length. Its been perfect to the corners in the past so a recollimation should sort it out.
