Alfa Pavo - Peacock (Binary System)

Binary Systems are the majority in the sky. Novae happens in them.
Factory of complex chemical elements.

But they are anonymous, few people shot them. Except when a Nova occurs.

note:
Done with my Canon 350D, after surgery to eliminate the IR filter.

First image from a long serie !

GSO 305 mm - Canon 350D (mod) - ISO 1600 - 4 x 1 second (4 seconds)

Thank you. It seems to be easy shot binaries, but to choose the ideal ISO and time of exposition ... some times is a hard task.

Thank you, Rex. I did this and two others to test my mod Canon 350D. The weather isn't good here.
This target was not so difficult because the stars A and B are distant, and star B and C have near magnitude.

I think the most difficult target is Sirius A and B. I will try it, later.
