Series of images taken on the 1st of July in almost “perfect” winter conditions.
CPC925 (on HD-wedge, guided), Canon 60Da
50x2min @ ISO2500
Processed in PixInsight with the final touch-LT4 …

Frankly if some one had simply shown me that image and asked me whether it was taken with a DSLR, I would have said "no way"

As I mentioned while publishing the M20’s image the overall conditions were outstanding.
Low temperature … made the camera almost like working with a cooler …

It’s not only possible, it’s real.
Altogether, it’s a combination of air conditions (that’s 1st), exposure, ISO, number of frames, (soft) processing parameters etc. etc…
