Inspiring vista Greg. Great stuff.
Are the gradients town lighting? Planning to try and treat those anymore.
(Love the view from Mag clouds through to M31 BTW)
Great view Greg You beat me to it! I have been wanting to do a pano showing these four galaxies together for a while now, but have not done it yet as I need to get further west (and ideally north) to get M31 out of the glow from Wagga.

I think its streaky thin cloud. It was taken after a cold front went through.
There is a little bit of glow there from Canberra and Cowra.
Greg.

The M31 was luck and not planned. I did shoot a 360 pano as well that must have it in there too.
This is one of several mosaics I've done and a few time lapses as well.
Your processing of these shots is getting much better
Thanks Mike.
Getting a processing routine for these is different to CCD processing.
I am making some headway on that front. Capture NX2 is quite a good program really, once you get past the awkward Adobe Lightroom style clunky interface.
Really nice shot! You've also got M33 at the far right in the original, so the collection of LMC, SMC, Milky Way, M31, M33 is quite the portrait of our intergalactic neighbourhood!

Nice spotting. I'll look for that.

Thanks Mike. I am enjoying the widefield imaging and have been wanting to do these for ages.

Yes it would. It is very high res. The camera is a massive 36.3mp and its quite a few panels so its probably about a 400mp image.
PM me your email or address and I'll email you a larger version or burn a CD for you and mail it to you.
