transit....first ever sun shots

103mm refractor on a camera tripod, not the most stable but seems to have worked o.k, but it was hard to get focus right as it was a little wobbly. Tried to get the droplet effect in the first shot

Wow - that is a cracker first solar image - I do not think you could top that with the set up - yeah!

thanks all, i am wrapped with the results . i have tried to enlarge a single shot to see just how large i can get it without it falling apart
