Are you willing to sell OTA only, no diagonal or eyepiece at this stage?
Cheers, Matt

At this stage I would prefer selling as a package - unless I have requests for the mount as well. Then we could figure out a deal. May consider selling mount separately at 500$A. That's about 250$A off current retail price.

I see a lot of interest (600+ views) but not many offers or requests. If anyone wants the scope or the mount - tell me what would you like?

Selling Sky Watcher EQ5 mount in practically new condition for 500$A. Stainless legs, DEC drive, all complete and pristine - good 250$A off current shop price.
Or 750$A with Black Diamond 102AR achromate- mint condition as well. That's 500$A off retail. Won't sell the OTA unless the mount is sold.

Discount and bonuses!

Selling Sky Watcher EQ5 mount in practically new condition for 400$A. Stainless legs, RA drive, all complete and pristine.
Or 650$A as a package with Black Diamond 102AR achromate - mint condition as well. Pickup only in Melbourne, delivery possible within inner suburbs. That's about half price of Melbourne retail!

Bonuses for package buyer: M.Covington's 'Astrophotography for the amateur' book till Fri May 11 only, and Bahtinov focusing mask for 102mm OTA - till sold.

Re: the mount. You say it's motorised 'Dec only', what does that mean? Part of your inability to sell it is likely that you aren't prepared to ship it. If you'd organise shipping to Canberra then I'm keen provided I could use it for astrophotography with an auto-guider. Pictures would nice if you could find the time.

Thanks,
Cam

Michael, are you sure you don't mean R.A. drive only? (which is common)

A mount with Dec drive only doesn't make sense.

Notes:

Thanks, ballarat.... Yes, that's RA drive. Did not use EQ system for a while.

On delivery - if you are ready to pay the shipping - tell me how would you like to have it delivered. If I pay shipping - the cost will be substantially higher.

With aperture 102mm and focus distance 1000mm F ratio is 10 for practical matters. Also, if interested see my first light report on scope+mount here: http://www.astronomyforum.net/telesc...rst-light.html

I'm interested for a Solar Conversion, I need F10 or higher, so it would suit.
If it has a box, I could organise a courier to pick up.

Everything or tube only? There is no box, but can be sorted somehow. Send me a personal message. Mind it, in total it is two boxes minimum, total 20-25 kilograms I think.
