Maybe I should just email off the stacked image to someone that CAN process it.

Not really, there always seems someone out there can do better.
But thats the learning game and there are so many willing to share expertise here that makes IIS so good.

Looks absolutely wonderful, Allan. Magnificent image scale.

I have done this one, once before, using the ED127. I miss long focal length imaging. Would love to own an RC one day.

I'd love a go at processing your shot.

I also love this image scale for galaxies and was seriously looking at a 12" GSO RC but the opinion is that at 26KG its at the top end for a Losmandy GII. However its about what Im running at the moment. Too many choices.

The QSI coupled with the 10"SCT gives great resolution. Its improved since I really set about collimating it properly.

Fantastic work - love it Allan
I actually love Doug's repro colours a tad more though....halo a bit more white as you might expect. Either way, fantastic data, and fascinating that you've gone against the grain and come back from OAG to guidescope. You must really have the rig singing in that case.

Thanks for the comment, Jeff as I've imaged this before but not at this FL and rigorously collimating my scope is beginning to pay dividends in the detail I can now extract.
