CG-5 EQmotorised mount

If i hadn't inherted a little cash to upgrade to a new mount I'd still be using it today.
Purchased new in 2003, i added (via Bintel Melbourne) the Dec and RA motor drive in 2007. They also modified, refined and serviced the mount. I have accurately guided and imaged using a C8 with Skywatcher 80ed piggy backed on top. Images were always good, even up to 8 minute exposures.

It's got a few marks and sctratches but both drives work fine. Just remember you are not buying a new mount.

Packaging details:
Mount in packing box: 340x420x260deep 600g
Tropod legs: folded in 850x150 400g
Clockdrive: 250x190x65deep 200g
Counterweight: 150x50deep 600g

Could anyone tell me how to upload an image please

For sale $300
I can organise postage/ freight but buyer has to pay

Hi,

Could you please let me know if this is still available, I'm interested.

Can it be interfaced to a computer for goto and tracking? are there windows drivers available for the interface?

Hi Alistair
I believe you can buy a GOTO kit to attatch to the drives. No drivers are required to run the mount.

Carl,

I am interested in the mount too haha I've noticed it isn't the CG-5GT. The CG5 is discontinued now for the goto kit for the CG5 would it be easy to find or a hard kit to get a hold of since the mount itself is no longer sold by celestron?

Luke.

Hi Carl, I might be interested in this too, what kind of attachment for the OTA, eg, is it a standard Dovetail? I have a Celestron 6SE
