Meade ETX-90 problems!

Does anyone have experience with removing the top plate from a meade etx-90? Looks like I have clumsily sheared on or more wires running through the central clutch bolt while turning it.

Why do you think you sheared the wires? What is not working?

We lost Dec in my ETX125, but it we found we had blown a choke on the Dec circuit board.

I was attempting to degrease the RA clutch, but needed to turn the central bolt to loosen the clutch plates, but just a little too much.

Strange it would be engineered this way.
