Thread text pop up

I frequent another forum (unrelated interest) which has the feature of being able to hover over a listed thread and a popup style window shows the first 20-30 words of the post in that thread (about 2 lines).

Since both sites use the same underlying forum software, I just wondered if this was a feature that could be enabled here also.

I find it a very convenient and useful feature and there is enough of the post to know what the direction of the thread is and if it interests you without having to actually download and view it al.

Cheers

It does. It was disabled years ago. I found it annoying because it pops up when you're going to click on a thread anyway. Interfaces are subjective, eh?

I'll see about making it a personal option that you can enable if you like.

For what my vote's worth, I'd like to see this feature as well.
The other forum I use has it enabled and there is about 1 seconds delay between hovering over the thread title and the text appearing.
Very helpful if the thread/post subject is unclear.
