for all those who ordered 16" scopes

well don't expect them before march at the earliest, apparently Meade want the first batch to run QC checks on them. as for the GSO counterparts, not until after may. well we can only hope they get it right eh!

All good things come to those who wait.

Hopefully they'll do some thorough QC to make them right.

Sound like the same story as last year. Maybe you'll get your scopes Christmas 2008.

except microsoft of course, they still release stuff with bugs and late!!!

Not good news for guys that have to wait, at least we will be having a few large 16" and 18" SDM's to refer their planetary experiences.

As long as they get it right first time!

Hang in there David - personally I cannot wait to see the 16" in action. I do hope that they get things right for this scope.

Cheers Petra

There was a thread maybe a year ago asking people to guess when the 16" gso dobs will be available and I havent been able to find it. I want to know who the winner is (or at least who is still in the race)

Thats the one Darren

I voted 'sometime in the far future' and '$2601-$2800'.
From that poll it looks as if about 90% of voters have been dissapointed.
