Celestron Nexstar Evolution 9.25 Telescope , Mount and Tripod

Reduced to $3900.

A regretful sale, however life has changed in the way of a baby daughter, so I'll let a fellow stargazer enjoy this unbelievably good telescope whilst I downsize.

Celestron hit the sweet spot with the 9.25 SCT scope, with integrated wifi with the go-to mount and the better heavy duty tripod

It was Purchased new from Bintel just over 1 year ago.

All items included in the sale as per the original popular package (see Bintel link below) including original star diagonal, visual back, mount, tripod etc.

https://www.bintel.com.au/product/ce...925-telescope/

Original 13mm and 40mm eye pieces are included (these have not left their box).

Item is based in Tumbarumba, NSW (Snowy Valleys) - however I can meet half way to Sydney/Melbourne if it is reasonable.

I would prefer not to ship, however this can be discussed if it is the only option.

Out of interest, how much for the Mount and tripod only. Have a C925 OTA.

Hi Dec. Please me know what your expectations for a price for just the tube is.
Looking to upgrade from a vintage Celestron C8 orange lead paint tube attached to a Nextstar CE mount.
Cheers.

Sorry for butting in here, but I image with my Celestron Evolution C9.25" SCT. It's very good for planetary imaging, not good for DSO imaging (as it's an alt/az mount). It's possible, but not ideal.

You can see some of my photos here, all were taken with the Evo mount except for the 2 most recent images which I took with a CGEM mount as my Evo was in for repairs.

Hope this helps, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Really appreciate the info 😀
Would the wedge accessory help with the deep space objects?
This would be my first telescope so I’m looking for this sort of help.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kinds regards,

Stuart Shaw.
