I am thinking of purchasing a sky watcher wi fi adapter, are they any good and how do you use on. I will be using it on a sky watcher EQ3pro mount.
Hoping your good advice will assist in my decision making process, many thanks.
I have one of these on my Skywatcher 12 inch goto. Works fine if your wifi can connect outside. I use my iPhone as a hot spot and it works fine. Just be wary of drop outs though.
I have been using one of these regularly for the last 4 years on an EQ 8. They work well and I have no issues with dropouts etc. I have mine set up to access the home wifi network, although they can be connected to phone/tablet as well and controlled from these.
