Hi all
I got my best ever pic of 47 Tuc last night. Everything worked, a guidestar happened to be well located, allowing me to hand guide accurately, and the seeing was very good, and 47 Tuc was almost as high as possible. Little wind and dark sky for Newcastle.
Image is a mask of 2x5 mins ISO 400 and 4x2mins ISO 200, with colour stretching in IRIS to bring out star colours. Ive attached full screen and a full res. crop
Earlier got a less accurately guided shot of 2 Globs , NGC 6522 and 6528. This area is also known as Baade's window. Note the fainter glob. is reddened by the dark nebula
2x5 mins ISO 400.

Thanks all.
Ive always had trouble with 47 Tuc till I realised I need to treat it like M42 and use the masking technique to penetrate its core and maintain outer detail. Took more time on the PC processing it than actually taking the images lol.
