Milky Way over Wilpena Pound

Folks,

I took this shot on a rare clear night a couple of weeks ago while visiting Wilpena Pound. It was a crisp night, involving a freezer suit and a hike up an adjacent hill

Canon 6D + Sigma 35mm @f/1.4 for 13 seconds at ISO 3200.

Resizing and JPEG compression kinda kills it...

Cheers,
Dunk

Nicely done Dunk. More than fair return for the effort involved getting set up by the sounds of it

Thanks Rob! I could have stayed up there all night, the 360 view was amazing. Then the Moon saved me
