I propose that amateur
astrophotographers remove
tracking from their vocabularies, since it only really matters how well his/her mount
guides
BTW, Last night my mount was guiding as usual at around 0.6" RMS and most 10-minute subs have slightly eggy stars. However, it was pointed out to me that there was a very thin layer of high cloud, plus it was a tad windy, so these factors might have contributed to substandard star shapes.
EDIT: I also have been seriously considering upgrading my Az-EQ6, thus I really appreciate any kind of information from the users of other mounts.
