Great image Justin,

The PN has come out well in only 50 minutes - must be the fast F/4.
I am seriously considering an 8" F/4 or F/5.

Tony.

Your images continue to impress Justin - another great shot. You must also live in a place where clear skies occur too given your output.

Cheers

Great work Justin, especially with a DSLR. That planetary is pretty faint.

Thanks Tony!

An 8" F/4 will perform well, just be prepared for some frustration with collimation and a few flexure issues.
Once you are on top of those they are a pleasure to image with.

Yes, reasonably happy with the stars, just wish I was little more consistent processing them.

Thanks Steve!

Autumn usually delivers reasonably clear skies, and I usually only go to 3 hours on most images, ten being the most I've done.
Allows me to post lots and trawl for less imaged DSO's.

Reckon it would come up a treat with your resolution and skills.

My next challenge will be Abell 31 being mag 27 per arc second. Diameter 17 x 16 arc minutes.
Visual mag is listed at 12.2, I think it will be like Abell 35 to image and process.

I think they got the description spot on.

That is just magic Justin, beauty of a field, dig the spiky stars and the PN looks real nice and tucked away in there, tho still steels the show, a mighty fine image - well done
