Nightscape Pano taken at SPSP

Here is a night-scape panorama stitched together from 7 separate frames.

This is my first attempt at this type of panorama so please be gentle with me.
It was really just a test so I could work out what to do.

Next time I obviously need to find a more interesting foreground (and get more actual foreground in). Through a Pentax K-5 DSLR using a Samyang 14mm

Great job, if this is your first attempt, I'll look forward to seeing the next ones.

Nice one Pete As you say some more field of view on the bottom and I think, some more either side and you would be onto a winner.

Yes, more foreground required but you captured the sky really well, and that's the hardest part!

Stitching looks good Pete, but as Greg suggested I'd try and go much wider next time. Good job for a test run though!

Quite nice. White balance is a bit too cool. Around 4500K may be better it will reduce the excess blue/magenta.

Thanks for the advice Greg. I've struggled to get the right colour-balance so far in most of my nightscape attempts.
I think I took too much green out of this one when I was processing it.
