Nice work Tony. Did you use the EOS-M with a camera lens attached, aka eyepiece projection, as I assume it will not operate without a lens attached to a “dumb” eyepiece T2 Adapter?

The dynamic range is quite impressive if these are single shots. Very clean images through the C9.25.

Cheers

Dennis

http://www.telescopeadapters.com/ - I purchased the T ring adapter from the States with a Filter -The Normal canon EOS T Ring won,t fit This little Baby..On the EOS-M you go into Menu scroll Through to Custom Functions -C.FnIV:Operation /Others Release shutter w/o Lens -press Enable -This will let you use the camera Shutter with out the lens Attached. Thanks Tony - I have the Canon EF-M lens adapter so I'll give this a try with a T Adapter. I’m used to taping pins when using the Canon Extenders and was going to try that, but the CFn: 7 looks the goods.

Cheers

Let’s hope that the next event for 4th August brings some clear skies so the EOS-M can be put through its paces. I really like the touch screen capability when shooting through a telescope, and no mirror slap.

Pity that Canon didn’t include (or disabled?) tethering the EOS-M to a PC for remote Live View shooting.

Cheers

What works well with The EOS - M is the Canon RC-6 Infared remote -1 click shoot or delay Shoot you don't have to touch the camera.http://www.canon.com.au/en-AU/Person...%20Control/RC6

Thanks Tony – I already have one of these very pocketable units; the only downside is that it is line-of-sight and I am usually on the other side of the camera!

I often set the timer to 10 secs from the rear LCD and that gives the system time to dampen down after I squeeze the shutter.

Cheers
