had to work for Venus Transit, artists impression

Had to work yesterday, so here is an impression of what I think I might have been able to image, if I had a solar scope, the day off work, no clouds, all my gear worked, and anyone cared to look.

Image details:

Capture device: brain
Processing: 30 seconds in PhotoShop
Background details: warped sense of humour

Seriously, guys. Some awesome images here, too many for anyone to be able to comment on individually. Great jobs, and I'm very jealous of you all.

You are quite right, Peter. I just uploaded a corrected version showing what I imagine the sunspots might have looked like, and also the texture of the Sun has been added as I imagine it would appear like an orange peel.

I quite like the shots of objects passing in front of the Sun as well as Venus. I've seen planes, birds etc. I quite liked ET.

Sorry, Troy. It's an obvious fake. Venus is the wrong way up.

This could be just the start of a whole new IIS underground sub-forum.

If you look carefully, you may have noticed a slight difference in the 2 images in post #1 above. This is because I hadn't aligned my brain with the SCP and was getting some drift...
