Future problem with Jupiter and Saturn

I'am not having a go at this site as I think it looks great but I was running it through and I think that we are in for a nasty accident in the future as Jupiter and Saturn are going to crash into each other . It is all about to happen around 2020/2021

Just out of interest what would happen if this really happened I know it would be bad but not what it would involve

depends on how it would happen - angle of impact, velocity and so on..
Probably Earth would not feel much in a short term.

Well the Earth would be fine, but the ejected material would be raining down on the Earth's surface and there would probably be extinction level impacts happening every couple of days. But yeah, the Earth itself would be fine.

A lot will depend on whether Jupiter runs into saturn or Saturn runs int Jupiter. In the first instance Jupiter would be heading out to form Jupiturn. In the other instance Saturn would be heading in to form Satiter. Watch out Earth for the debris.

Did any of you doomsayers bother to change the options slider settings from the far right (schematic) to the far left (realistic)?

The closest they get is on or about 2020-12-22
Jupiter 20h11'17" -20d30'29" ~5.1AU from the Sun
Saturn 20h10'56' -20d25'18" ~10AU from the Sun

5AU is about 750 million kilometres.

Well that's better I don't understand why that isn't the default view would make more sense to me.
