Coast to Coast

Hi All,
Thought I'd have a go at Obsidianphotos' 'Hanging Gardens" style.

This was taken from the village of Bulgaldie, just north of Coona. It has a great horizon.

Details; 6x10sec exp Cannon 7D 11-16 Tokina Stiched with Auto Pano Pro and processed with GIMP.

Looks great Jeff I'm glad I have inspired you to try this for yourself. Did you shoot horizontally or vertically? If you shoot horizontally you can generally get a wider field of view on the shortest side, but it does mean more images. I'm curious about what your ISO was for the shots? 10 second subs are not very long for these wide angle shots. I'm guessing you used the 11mm end of your lens and thus I think you could comfortably shoot each sub for 25 seconds without noticeable movement in the stars, and thus you could lower your ISO a bit.

Thanks for the responses.
I am now looking for inspiring landscapes around here.
I forgot to add that the ISO was 3200 @ f2.8.

The shots were horizontal and part of the image added. Just with a different vanishing point and crop.
As it was just to see if it would work, I didn't bother moving the car, just shot around it... And yes, I shouldn't have been so lazy. -Next time.
