Another 1st Milky Way

My first real attempted at the Milky Way. I managed to get 5 shots in before the clouds returned, stacked in RegiStax, no darks etc. May have over processed, lots to learn.

All feedback welcome.

Hey, that's pretty good Kevin!

You should give DeepSkyStacker (DSS) a go with standard settings for a try over registax.

The DDS is free and works well to properly align your sub exposures. There is some learning involved, perhaps Google it for an inspection of what it's about.

To utilize the IceInSpace image viewer, you need to go Advanced and not quick post, and at the bottom, you'll see a manage attachments option. Just note the allowable image size permissible.

Good work though on your image!

Steve

Nice image. I agree with Steve. Registax for planets, DSS for stars. Just stick with default settings .Pretty easy.
