Partial Eclipse Time Lapse

I managed to capture last nights partial eclipse just..

We arrived at Rylstone(Near Mudgee) at 5pm, from there it was straight into setting up the mount and getting a polar alignment. Simple in theory but actuality was another matter.

Rylstone was (and is) suffering intermittent power outages, so luckily I had brought a large battery along, it was partly cloudy so polar alignment took a little longer than usual. I then switched on my camera....no response, it turns out that a wire was broken in my external power supply so I had to run off mostly flat batteries.

So with everything aligned and running those %$%^ clouds decided to thicken up.

Considering all that, I have been left with a choppy little time lapse, of which I am really happy to have, as I nearly missed out on the opportunity completely.

Nice work Trent, but the video has been squished to an unnatural aspect ratio
