Hi Paul,
That's a nice shot.
I notice that M83 & NGC 5128 are almost directly overhead at 11pm.
I am hoping for some clear sky so I'll get some pics too.
cheers
Alpal.

They certainly are and that's when I shot till! then moved to another target. Yet again, now that I know how well the RC works I need to come back for more subs.

all the best

hey Paul, good to see the rest of those images you took.

This one has some funky blue business going around the actual galaxy, And is it just the connection of the camera or something as there is some major tilt happening from the left to right?

Hi Brendan

I think that the blue is something in the processing but would seem to correspond closley with this pic that I took with my ED127. There is no tilt in this imaging train. Crappy focuser slipped and the pic is not as well focused but you get the drift!

All the best

Paul

I really like this galaxy... it's a bit of an overdone target but there are big differences between it being done well and being under done.

I have some gear to put up for sale left over from the C9.25. such as the moonlight and the FT micro focuser. The moonlight just got back from the states where it had a new clutch fitted to the High res stepper drive. Once I sell the Gear i'm going to put a new 2.5" moonlight on the ED127. Should make it a bit more AP friendly.
