Jim Marshall dies

Any Rocker knows the name Marshall Amps.

Founder Jim Marshall has died at age 88.
I'm sure Dave (DavidU) may have known him.

A fine man. I was lucky enough to to play(he was a drummer) with him in the early 90's. I worked with his company for a decade or so.A true legend in the music industry. Sad news.......

Not exactly a muso myself, but like many of you could relate to, I've hauled a few Marshall amps in and out of gigs many, many years ago.

RIP Jim.

Wow Dave! That would have been awesome and an honor!
Sad news indeed.
For that ultimate raw hard rock sound you can't beat a Marshall, especially with a Les Paul.
