Mars Feb 18th with animation

The seeing was pretty poor, so I wasn't even going to bother posting this result. Then I found I had enough monochrome #25R filtered images to make a short animation, which looked kind of reasonable.

Hope this is of interest.

Still hoping for some better seeing, any time now would be good.

You did very well Ivan, considering the seeing! I reckon me seeing is almost over, which possibly means it could be on the turn soon for the south, not sure about this these days though, even though I come from your area.

I guess I'll be right about the above eventually

Thanks John, hope you're right about the seeing turning our way soon.

Thanks Rob, but it will really be a shame if we don't get some half decent conditions down here some time in the couple of weeks either side of opposition.

Thanks Ray, I'm doing what the conditions allow, and still enjoying myself.

A good effort Ivan, particularly like the animation.

Cheers
