Feather Touch FT3035 with ED127 Adaptor

Arrived this morning, no scope to fit it to, so I am tossing it up here.
If it sell then someone gets a very very nice focuser, if not, then it can go into storage.
I'd prefer to sell it as a "complete fit onto an existing ED127" setup, but will look at selling off individually if the offer is suitable.

Brand new, cosmetic second (tell me where the blem is, I can't find it), Feather Touch FT3035. So, 3" draw tube, with 3.5" travel. Rack and pinion, THE best focuser in my opinion.
Has the required 2" fitting on the eyepiece end, so any 2" accessories will slip straight in, three set-screws.

Adaptor is the correct fitting to attach the focuser as a unit to the ED127 from Explore Scientific, or the North Group scopes that are so popular here. Plug and play, well screw and view more likely.

Complete, focuser and adaptor, AU$825 shipped.
Via PM please.

That is a lovely bit of kit Gary, and I would love to fit it to my 127, but so far out of what I feel comfortable spending on a focuser

Does it have the flange that screws onto the end of the OTA, or does it attach with grub screws?

You're not wrong there Adam, nice is an understatement, gorgeous even. And I agree, it seems absolutely ludicrous to spend close to what the original ED127 costs, just for a focuser, but when you use this and if you have had focusers like I have had from the respective ED127 scopes, this seems a very good idea.
I know most have Moonlites, and the M/L upgrade is exceptional too, but the R&P of the F/T is just that much better I reckon. Plus, apart from the specific adaptor, owning a focuser like this would become like owning a top quality E/P, if and when you sell the scope, you keep the focuser. Anyway enough sell.

The adaptor is a screw on one, it uses the male 130mm thread that exists on the alloy tube version, and yes, screws straight on. Rotation of the focuser is accomplished by way of the three "yellow" colored knobs spaced about the front section of the focuser proper, this is a Teflon adaptor which allows silky smooth rotation.

Yes, the adaptor screws on, uses the exposed 130mm (I think) thread.
Other scopes will require a different adaptor. Certainly possible.

As a owner of a FT3015B-A i can tell you they are a absolute pleasure to use, nice big focus controls. And to boot they Screw into the adaptor plate.... you don't understand how useful that can be for both transport and if you have multiple scopes! 1 focuser to focus them all!

If you want to see how accurate they are just look at my recent HH image all that with the Sbig, OAG, QHy9, Filter wheel, MPCC hanging out the end and it didn't blink. 825 is expensive but it is undoubtledly in the top end of the top end of focusers!
