Minecraft

A recent post by Mike in regards to his Son wanting to create a server for Minecraft -and me being a newbie at Minecraft- I was just wondering if there are any other Minecraft Players out there on IIS?
I've been playing for the last few weeks and I'm loving it.

Simple yet engrossing.

Have a look, and if anyone would like to start up a IIS Minecraft server ....let me know ( as I have no idea how to maybe Mikes son.... maybe a moon/space/nebula/other world etc theme)

Anyway just thought I would ask.......

After playing World of Warcraft for 6 years, I find it hard to pick up another game that will be a huge time sink and Minecraft can be a pretty big sink

That said, I've pre-ordered SW:The Old Republic even though they have yet to release an official date for people in the "red zone"

Back on topic, I've seen some very very impressive things done with minecraft, it certainly has great potential with it's sandboxing.

Computer games can be terribly addictve, especially on line. The secret is to learn how to cure your addiction else you can never have another life.

I started playing a DOS game called detiny knight in 1984(?). After nearly 30 years I think I am at last cured.

I also got addicted to Freecell twelve years ago when it came as an extra with the 19 disk set of the sky survey. There were 32000 games in the original version there are now many millions. I set out to do them all. After twelve years I finished the 31999 solvable games last month. I found out the "cheat" to solve game 11982 in the windows version but it does not work in my old version.
