Hi, I've a wide field shot of the Cocoon area with 5, 8, & 10 min subs at iso 800 with a Canon 450D (home mod) totalling 2.5 hrs. All exposures were supposed to be 10 min but clouds had other ideas
Its processed with flats etc in DSS and PS.
Hope you like...

Bartman - sorry should have put more detail in description.
Scope is an Altair Astro 8-inch f4 - so 800 mm or about 31.5 inches and camera was cooled to about 12ºC below ambient with a home made chiller.

Hi Francis,

A great photo.
Nice detail and colours.

I am also impressed with your "home" modding and cooling.

Thanks.

Ross.
