Hello & Please Help
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this website and was referred here by a friend (who uses the name maroubra_boy) on Cloudy Nights. A colleague of mine will be visiting relatives in Australia for the month of June and she and her husband and daughter would like to do some stargazing during the visit. They have recently gotten into astronomy and I've been mentoring and encouraging them.
She and her family will be visiting Naracoorte (where she was born) and Barossa Valley. If anyone can tell me about a star party , club, or individual in the area, I will pass the information on. I know about the Astronomical Society of South Australia but don't know how close it is or have any contacts.
