Ooh I can see why you were happy with this one. That is nice.

Only comment and its minor is perhaps a tad too much magenta. Selective colours tool in photoshop set to blues and magenta and reduce magenta and also add some yellows to the blues would probably bring out more of a nice shade of blue.

I am not sure galaxies are magenta hued and if they are then I imagine that is due to colour extinction (although M83 is high in the sky at the moment) or perhaps red shift from it moving away from us. Or we are seeing it through a patch of dust.

You got the Ha areas nicely showing which you don't often see.

Greg.

Agree with Greg, this is a nice image that you should be pleased with Jeanette. Now you have enough to do a series of Sidonios.

Very nice JJJ. We have 20 Yr 11 students coming tomorrow night in two groups of one and a half hours each to rotate through three stations doing constellations, deep sky and webcaming. I/We can not wait.

El numero uno is the better one
It has more detail and less noise then the second one

Very nice JJ. I think a blend of both images bringing out the Ha regions would improve the image heaps.
Not a lot of exposure so you should be able to add quite a lot to it yet.

Well done.
