40mm Astro-Tech Titan II ED

This is a 70 degree AFOV eyepiece with good eye relief, same optics as the TMB Paragon, in excellent condition. Price $115 including post.

Now $125 including postage.

This eyepiece also works well with an Antares 1.6x barlow, giving a long eye relief 25mm widefield. In this mode the eyecup can be wound up to set your eye position.

I have two of these, one used with a filter and one without, but arrival of a 41 Pan means I don't need both of the Titans.

Last try, bargain basement price of $115 including shipping. Performance is only marginally behind a 41 Panoptic (for a lot less money).

If only it was a 30mm I would have not hessitated, . Just too long for my f/4.5 scope, .

I've had a look through one of these 40mm beauty's in a 7" Mak. Stunning! A truely amazing eyepiece.

Yes, I steered away a buyer yesterday after noticing an f/5 dob in her signature. The eyepiece is best suited to f/6 or slower for exit pupil reasons.
