Southern Sky in Mackay

Hi all just trying to perfect my night landscape photography. This time I turned off the long exposure noise reduction just to see what difference it would make. And thought I would post the result.

Very nice Warren.
There is a nice and clear letter S right in the upper middle of the stars.
S for Southern Skies.

HA HA I hadn't noticed that nice pickup thanks Liz I know it is very noisy it was just an experiment to see if I should stop using NR or keep it on so any thoughts on that would be great and you shots over the ocean are great so your advice would be great on that. How is the recovery going in your house

I always forget about the NR ... keep meaning to use it on my night pics, not that have taken one for ages. Wouldnt have thought you would need it so much on an image when not fully dark.

Yes recovery OK ta, still sand hiding in places in 2 front bedrooms, but Ok. Nothing major. Poor front garden will take forever to recover. of course, the plant I didnt likme is the one that survives.
