Hey IIS,
Wednesday night was ground breaking night for me

finally got the mount well polar aligned and autoguiding. Very excited now!! Learnt a few processing techniques from Atlas Astronomy (
http://www.atalas.net/index.php?opti...xpose&Itemid=4) that I've been dying to apply too.
Decided to go for the Rosette nebula first off. It was the largest amount of data i've collected thus far for a single DSO. 60 minutes total exposure, 6 x 10 minute subs @ ISO 800. the dark frames were a tad frustrating to take but in the end worth it =]
Second and lastly was NGC2362. It was pretty much on the Meridian so I decided to go for it. Not the most spectacular cluster out there but provided me with a brillant star field I could mess around with in Photoshop =] 48 minutes total exposure 4 x 10 minute subs & 1 x 8 minute sub @ ISO 800.
After NGC 2362 the moon rose, clouds started to come in and the dew was getting a bit much so decided to call it a night. Although the nights out at Coolabine are equally as awesome, It was great to finally get some imaging done by myself

I'm pretty keen on the idea of setting up in my backyard haha.
Thanks for looking

and thanks to everone who's helped get me here.
