For those looking in this area, this is a great mount to consider with the A$ so strong:

MI 250

From all I've read (alas I've never played with one in person) they are great mounts. However, I thought they were currently unavailable until: (1) the new Gemini MK. II units become available, and (2) enough orders come in to make it a sufficiently profitable endeavor for Larry to start up production again. I'd be happy to be wrong but the message on their website suggests that I'm not <http://www.mountaininstruments.com/>.

Indeed a great mount and price..but...can you get the Gemini ATM? I think they (Losmandy mounts and others) are all delayed due to the impending release of the new Gemini?

Which no doubt should be worth while.

All true Michael, but nothing is a bargain unless you really need it.
