Revelation IR Blocking Filter 1.25 inch question

Hi all,

I bought from Morgans Computers in the UK the Philips SPC880 which I've received and flashed... I also bought the Webcam adapter. Just waiting for a clear night now!!

My question though relates to the IR blocking filter - I haven't bought it yet, but can't get my head around where / how it fits over the eyepiece so that the webcam + adapter can slot in? Can you only use one or the other?

The filter in question is here (does anyone know of a local supplier that would have same at similar price as opposed to importing again?)

thank you!!

Hi Timboo,
Most filters screw into the bottom of the eyepeice as that one appears it would do as well.
don't know if your specificly after that IR filter but try Bintel, they have thier own UV/IR filters... https://www.bintelshop.com.au/welcome.htm disregard the comming soon due April bit, appears they have not updated that page for awhile.
On my cam I can screw the filter into the cam as well for prime focus imaging.
