Storm Cell over Brisbane Water

Hi all

Captured this with my iPhone today, overlooking Brisbane Water to the North East.

The family and I were riding from Gosford to Woy Woy and we almost got drenched by this storm, but luckily it just skirted us.

Enhanced contrast and vibrancy in Photoshop.

Wow, I wouldn't like to have been out on the Ocean with that looming down.

Nice capture.

I'd could have got some storm photos, but I wasn't going out in the hail. It was only about 5-7mm but that's enough to hurt.

The rain and hail on the roof was so loud the dog didn't even notice the thunder.

10 minutes before and after the sun was out.

Wow, that awesome.

It would have been a bit freaky watching that moving towards you.

Hi Mike
Was away at SW Rocks the other day and was watching NBN Television and they showed this photo on the airwaves along with your name.
Good shot mate, you must be happy with that and congrats to you for making TV.
Cheers

Thanks guys - the iPhone can take a decent photo sometimes

My parents saw it on the NBN weather shots too and rang me up to tell me. I forgot to watch!

Nice shot! Just managed to catch it myself on the news the other day!
My wife yelled out and just managed to get a peek.
