Meteor in day light

Hey just wondering if anyone else so a meteor today a couple of minutes after 6pm today, I just went out to lock my front gate and just checked the sky in time to catch it starting over head and heading south-east.

Hi Brendan, that's the chance of a life time to catch one of those. What colour was it, any noise, vapor trail, was it brilliantly bright?

Just a few questions, I'd ask. Lucky chap.

Ive watched the ISS before and i'm sure it wasn't that. It was bright and only lasted a short distance, looked like it wasn't moving smooth or straight at the end. kind of like when you see a rocket spin out.

Reading that back it seems a bit mad. lol

Edit: It was a yellow-ish colour similar to Saturn but brighter.
