M45 not!

With the weather the way it is,here is a pic of a hole I cleared in my trees today to get M45 tonight. Or next year.See the cloud it's getting worse.
I hope this qualifies as deep sky.Thats the best I can do.

Bert

You use the old 'back' excuse Daniel?

I use the old "well, it is me we are talking about!" excuse. Still works for some reason

Sorry Bert, I didn't send it priority paid. It's still sitting in the Mail Centre. It will get there (it's very dark, so you will like it). Pity I couldn't email it, would've been faster.

I think you need to get the chainsaw out again Bert. Still look like it needs a bit more pruning like this

unfortunately Ken that's not a street light. It's one of 4 lights (mercury vapour I think ) used to light up the 2 tennis courts next door . And they are right next door to 4 more lights that are used to light up the rink of the Bowls club for night matches (which are rare fortunately) It gets as bright as day some nights here
