Slide Show Software, Could You Help Please

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone could suggest some software that would be suitable for making reasonably professional looking slide shows with the images that i have.

I do have Corel, DVD Movie Factory 7, but it gives me endless grief.

I am just looking for something that i can add music, transitions, and panning to, and something that is reasonably simple to use, and not needing a science degree to operate.

Many thanks in advance.

Leon

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker? It's does pretty much all you ask, it's free and pretty easy to use. Plus you most probably already have it.

Leon,

I'm in the exact same quandry.

For about $30-$40 you can purchase SlideshowPro. This software has three flavours:

1. for Flash (embed into a web site)
2. for Lightroom (to create a Lightroom gallery/slideshow which can be exported to web)
3. standalone application

All the details can be found here: http://slideshowpro.net/

I hope this helps, matey.

Yea Clayton I do have it, and have used it a bit, but it can't give you the menu's that I would like.

I also use Corel DVD Movie Factory 7, but that keeps giving me Unspecified Errors, but doesn't tell what is causing this.

Some times it works and sometimes it dosn't, it is very frustrating and is so touchy.

It tends to work if i make all the images the same size, but then it has a mind of it's own as well.

Hi Leon.

Ashampoo have an HD slideshow maker which will do what you want. Costs about $30 from memory. You can add music to the presentation and even set it so the music fits in with the photos duration. Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you some more info
