M 46 with NGC 2438 within.

Hi,

Taken last night through W/O Flt 110 and Canon 400d unmodified on ISO 800. 13 x 8 minute lights with darks, flats and bias frames added. Stacked with DSS and processed in photoshop CS3.

The first image is the field of view and the second is about a 50% crop roughly.

All comments welcome.

Thanks Alex. Adam and I are going nuts before we go back to school next week. Your shots with the new camera look great. You must be very happy.

I hear you mate! I've been looking at the clear nights recently... Having to go to work really sucks! Enjoy your holidays while they last mate! Get in as much imaging as you can!

Yeah the new camera is working out nicely.. slowly getting a handle on it.. The costs never end though. Software is killing me at the moment! haha
