Area around NGC 6188

Taken last new moon. WO ZS110 on Losmandy GM8 with QSI 540 camera.
5 min subs for a total of 2 hours.

love what you have caputured! those crisp clear refractor images is something that ill have one day for now ill have to put up with diffraction spikes steeling the day

Very nice image mate...
I like the look of the square field of view given by the KAF-4022 sensor..

I love the contrast of the dust against the faint nebulosity and sky background...

Well done.
One of the good things about the square image is that you can use Photoshop to add some canvas on the side and then use that blank bit to print details of the pic.

Too true.. Im organising getting a few of my recent pics printed up and have pondered the best way to add some text without it looking strange...

Very nice image Geoff, just a tad oversharpened which is harshed the stars a bit. Otherwise you got a lot there. Too bad the FOV wasn't a little bigger as there is a nice gas/dust twist above the top of your image.

Perhaps a mosaic would capture that.It'll show through in Ha.

Actually, it's more due to compression artifacts--I was having some trouble here. Not sure why.
