Received this after I sold my QHY8.
It is a bracket to allow the QHY8 to be mounted onto any tripod thread of 1/4" or 3/8".
This is necessary if you use a camera lens on the front for wide-field imaging, where the lens does not have a tripod foot.
Custom made by the HK guy, and very secure.
The new camera I have needs something wider, so this one is surplus.
No, it wasn't the colour of the knobs that made me sell the camera, LOL.
