Ninox Windows Version Beta

http://davesplanets.com/Programs/

can you guys please have a little play

Just point to the parent directory where all the avis directories live under

You can select multiple directories by clicking the table row and holding down “ctrl”

Don’t forget the wildcards ie *_Fit for all the directories like R_Fit, B_Fit, G_Fit etc

Please put any feedback and errors in this thread.

You will probabley need .net frameworks 2.0 which is in the windows updates

Clear skies are predicted fri/sat/sun so i'll be capturing some data then to test it out.

While you're at it, can you get ninox to read from avi files instead of bitmaps?

Anthony is too lazy to add avi support for me

Tested it out this morning on some average data captured this morning.

Works fine, although I had to use your step-by-step guide to get it going - I couldn't figure it out on my own A few bits in the UI were unintuitive.

A few tweaks to the UI and it would be a great program - more flexible than PCFE because Adam stopped developing it PCFE would've continued to be good if it had continued development.

With Ninox Batcher, I like:
- being able to select a top-level directory and it finds all the ones beneath it. Saves time dragging in or selecting directories.
- being able to set any ninox parameters (and having it save them)
- being able to choose which of the subdirectories to process, and having the wildcard filter (although it was unintuitive to start with)
- that the DOS window comes up in the background, not the foreground like it does with PCFE.

The "Overall" status bar doesn't work. Always sits on empty.

Excellent work, Dave. I'll definitely be using it from now on.

If you'd like, I can suggest some hints and style tips for the UI to make it even better. Let me know.

yes, the status bar is something i am playing with to try and get the bar to update between separate command line runs.........fingers crossed

and yes please, I would welcome all hints to make it easier to use.

The visual designer is very easy to change things around

Wow, I forgot all about this. How goes the development? Is there a newer version for us to pick apart?
