M31 from light-polluted Brisbane

Hi all,

Here's a quick wide-field image of the Andromeda Galaxy taken at about 5am today from a nearby park in the middle of Brisbane. I was testing out a Pentax 50mm f/1.4 prime lens that a friend at work has lent me, and I thought this would be a good test. It's not a great image, but I'm impressed with how sensitive this lens is (and it's the first time I've captured M31, so I'm happy to have done that).

Cheers,
Stephen
