dew controller

looking at buying the orion dew zapper or kendrick new dual controller and body use either and there thoughts

This will probably raise a few. Dew controllers are not really necessary. Just use a Cigarette lighter adapter on the end of dew heater. Modern dew heaters use little current. All the controller does is add heat adjustment, not really necessary to stop optics from dewing up. Just my two cents worth.

True, but handy to conserve power on battery operated systems.

thats true but im in my pod on 230v power no prob i use a dew heater on the correcter plate and it rises some 4.5 deg id like to gring that back 2or3 deg and id like to heat the eyepiece
