Strangest birthday yet

Hi all, two days ago i turned 60. It was, for me a most unusual day. First off the typhoon that was supposed to hit up north walloped us down here as well. Next up was that our contractor (who has tried very hard to complete our house) pulled the plug and decided that as a way to recoup some of his losses would take back the windows and doors... on my birthday in a typhoon!

The next day, which was technically my birthday in Canada, proved to be fair and sunny and last night I got in about half an hour of star and planet gazing. which raises the question of when did the GRS become so magnificently red again?

This much fun in the first two days... the rest of the year could be a lot of fun!

Hi Brian Having your doors and windows stolen when there is a typhoon about to strike is not my idea of having fun
But I am glad you can laugh about it
Happy 60th Birthday
Cheers

Got to keep on laughing. The most embarrassing birthday I had was when accepted in the Haisla nation to be trained as a village pastor for the United Church of Canada.

The Haisla believe that the weather on your birthday reflects your personality. The first year I was there on my birthday the only bridge into the village washed out.

You were obviously making a clean sweep of it .....

My 60th, I managed to spatter my arms with hot oil from the BBQ but didn't feel a thing till the next day ..

Happy Belated birthday, it can only get better after that story ...

Happy belated birthday Brian.

Definitely sounds like it was not a quiet birthday. Something to look back on in years to come.
